How much does the RYA VHF SRC course cost?

Classroom: £135 plus a £76 exam fee. Online: £85 plus a £76 exam fee.

What's the minimum age for RYA Marine Radio Short Range Certificate (SRC)?

16 years old.

Do I need experience to do the RYA Marine Radio Short Range Certificate (SRC)?

No previous experience is required.

Can I do the course online?

Yes, the course content can be completed online, with the exam sat in person at our Weymouth centre.

How long is the course?

10 hours of course time including roughly 3 hours of pre-course work, plus the exam.

Your qualification is valid in the UK and recognised internationally, including by charter companies across Europe and the Caribbean.
