Our RYA Training Centre is based in Weymouth, Dorset, with a fully equipped classroom and practical sessions on Portland Harbour and Weymouth Bay. We offer Powerboat Level 1 and 2, VHF Radio SRC and private boat tuition -  all run in small groups by experienced RYA instructors.

The maximum number of people allowed on our boats varies depending on the size and type of boat. Our largest boats can accommodate up to 12 passengers.

No — Powerboat Level 1 and VHF SRC both welcome complete beginners.

Most new powerboaters start with Level 1, then progress to Level 2.
